Born with a love for aviation, Mike Goulian’s journey into the world of flying began at a young age. Growing up in Massachusetts, with the mentorship of a father who was a pilot, crop duster and well-respected flight school owner, he was captivated by the sight of airplanes and dreamt of one day taking to the skies himself.
At just 16 years old, Goulian embarked on his aviation adventure, earning his pilot’s license and quickly mastering the art of flight. Fueled by determination and a passion for aerobatics, he honed his skills, participating in airshows and competitions across the country. Goulian’s 1995 1st place podium spot at the US National Aerobatic Championships and subsequent five podium spots in the famed Red Bull Air Race Championships from 2006 –2019 kept his competitive spirit alive.
Over the years, Goulian’s talent and dedication propelled him to the forefront of the aerobatic flying community. With countless hours spent perfecting his craft, he has become a renowned figure in the world of aviation, thrilling audiences with his awe-inspiring performances and pushing the boundaries of what is possible in the air for the past 30 years.
Beyond his achievements in the cockpit, Goulian is also known for his commitment to safety and professionalism, serving as a role model and mentor to aspiring pilots around the globe. Over the past two decades he has brought home the three top awards given to pilots in the airshow industry.
