Thank you for your interest in The Delaware Aviation Museum’s Living History Flight Experience Program aboard our B-25 J Mitchell Bomber, ‘Panchito”. Please read the following information and contact us at 443-458-8926 or Info@delawareaviationmuseum.org with any questions.
The cost for each passenger is $490.00. You will receive a letter recognizing your donation at the conclusion of your flight. If your flight is delayed or cancelled, you will be notified by phone, so please give a cell phone # when you make your reservation.
You must check in with us at our table at the airshow NO LESS than 30 minutes before your scheduled flight time; however, you may check in as early as you like once we arrive at the venue. You will be given a liability waiver to review and sign so please allow plenty of time.
If you fail to check in at least 30 minutes prior to your flight time, we reserve the right to sell your seat to another passenger.
Children ages 6 to 17 years must be accompanied by a parent or guardian passenger. No passengers less than 6 years old are accepted.
Passengers should be in reasonable physical condition to fly in Panchito. A passenger may be rejected if the pilot feels that He/She would not be able to exit through the emergency exits due to physical size or ability. Any questions or concerns regarding physical size or ability should be directed to Museum staff at the phone number listed above.
You should not ride in our B-25 if you have any medical condition which could be aggravated by extreme noise, heat, small spaces, or lack of ventilation. If you are prone to motion sickness, vertigo or cannot easily climb the vertical steps into the aircraft or move about the aircraft to gain access to the emergency exits in case of an emergency, you are discouraged from flying.
Acceptable apparel must be worn. Dresses, high heels and loose, flowing clothing should not be worn. Sandals are discouraged.
Your Flight Experience will last approximately 30 minutes, from the time you begin to taxi out until you taxi back in. A full safety briefing is required and will take place at the aircraft just prior to your flight. This briefing, conducted by the flight crew, will cover all emergency procedures as well as seat belts, what you can and cannot do once aboard and what to expect before, during and after your flight.
Panchito can take a maximum of 6 passengers, but will launch with a minimum of 3, if that is all that sign up for a particular flight. If we do not get at least 3 passengers for a given flight, and you have signed up for that flight, we will contact you and try to get you on another flight. Seats are booked on a first-come, first-served basis. There are three seats forward of Bombay and three seats aft of the Bombay with another seat for crew. There are NO bad seats on our aircraft! Each seat position offers great views of both the inside and outside. Once airborne, you may tour the entire section where your seat is located. Please see the seating chart.
Thank you again for your interest in our Flight Experience Program and we look forward to having you as crew on an upcoming mission!
