This event is on March 30, 2019 9:00 am

The Air & Space Show’s home at Orlando-Melbourne International Airport provides the opportunity to have aircraft on ground display along with simulators, exhibits, a kids zone and much more. The display and viewing area encompasses over 30 acres on the South side of the airfield so plan to come early and enjoy everything there is to see! Over 30 aircraft will be on display in the air and on the ground between the static display area and the performer hot ramp.  Gates open at 9:00 am!

Hi Luiz, if you purchased tickets, you were sent a link to see the full schedule with times. Otherwise, you can also see all of our performers at our Performer Page. The aerial show starts around noon.

  1. Pat says:

I am bringing a group of aviation students? I just want to make sure I u detests day correctly, general admission ticket holders are not given access to the planes? Would they be limited to the show and flight line from a distance?

    • Laney Poye says:

Hi Pat, we will have a set of static displays set up – not the same planes that are flying, but a group of planes that they can see up close. General Admission provides you access to the static displays, vendors and aerial performance which runs from noon to 4 pm. Gates open at 9 am.

    • Laney Poye says:

Hey Eric, chairs and 1L bottle of water per guest is fine. You cannot bring a cooler or large umbrellas. Handheld umbrellas are okay.

  2. Dana Lugibihl says:

HOW ABOUT HANDICAPP PARKING?//////////’/ The last couple times i was there we had to walk a LONG way to the gate…my back and I were done when we got there>

    • Laney Poye says:

Hey Dana, yes, we do have designated handicap parking. Just have your handicap placard visible in your car window and our parking attendants will direct you to a location in short walking distance to the gate. We are actually doing parking a little differently this year, and we will have volunteer assistance via golf carts once you get inside the gate if you need it.

  3. Dave Lathbury says:

for general admission, do i need to bring my own chairs or will rentals be available? can i bring a canopy?

    • Laney Poye says:

Hi Dave, no canopies are allowed, but you can bring your own personal handheld umbrella for shade. You will need to bring your own chairs with you!

  4. Jane says:

Hi, I cannot commit to spending so much money for VIP tickets without knowing the basic schedule. And I don’t want them to see out, if that typically happens, before I purchase. Do you have ANY scheduled events you can share with us? Thanks.

    • Laney Poye says:

Hey Jane, gates open at 9 am and the aerial portion of the show runs from noon to 4 pm, with the F-35 demo ending the show as our grand finale. All other performers are listed on our performer page. The specific schedule of the aerial show will be released the week before the show as we finalize the set list with the performers and the Air Boss.

          • Laney Poye says:

You’ll need to flip through the images at the top of the performer page – there are three images that are displayed, but there are lots of other acts as you scroll over!

        • Sandy Pfrimmer says:

same here, blank with just an overview of show for Saturday. Sunday shows a schedule, but lots of them are in red. Not sure if those are tentative or not..

          • Laney Poye says:

Hey Sandy, yeah, our tech team accidentally made a schedule page live that shouldn’t have been with last year’s information on it! We’re so sorry for the confusion that it caused our guests. As soon as I noticed I informed the website team to get it corrected. We’ll have the right information out to everyone this week!

    • Laney Poye says:

Yes, parking passes will go on sale about 30 days before the show! You can buy in advance online for a discount or pay at the gate.

    • Laney Poye says:

Hey Judith, parking passes will go on sale about 30 days before the show! Stay tuned, you will get an email about it! 🙂

        • Laney Poye says:

We do large discounts for all guests that pre-purchase tickets online in advance of the show. There are no additional military or senior discounts because all guests receive this larger % off.

        • Sandy Pfrimmer says:

Laney, PAFB is selling discount tickets for military and retirees. I saw that at their ticket office last week.

          • Laney Poye says:

Yes! Patrick Air Force Base is selling tickets! I should have clarified that the air show itself does not have an additional military discount. You can absolutely contact PAFB for more information about their ticket program.

    • Laney Poye says:

Hey Brian, we’ll be sending out further details on the parking directions about 30 days before the show. Stay tuned!

  5. James M Carlton says:

Just what can I do as a General Admission person? Will I be on the flight line ramp and close to the displays same as VIP People? What areas are General Admissions people restricted to?

    • Laney Poye says:

General admissions provides you access to our vendors, seat-your-self seating areas, and static displays. You will be further away down the flight line from the Air Boss station, but still with plenty of good views of the aerial performances. Only those with a valid VIP ticket will be allowed into the VIP area.

  6. Sean McCafferty says:

Is there a schedule being published giving the estimated time for the flying events by aircraft/performer ?

    • Laney Poye says:

Hey Sean, we will be putting out a general timeline of acts about 2-3 weeks before the show, as all final performers are confirmed. In the meantime, make sure you follow our Facebook page for in-the-moment updates!

  7. Steve Cope says:

Show a flight available to MLB that comes in at 1 or 2pm. Do the airshow flights share the same runway as commercial flights?

    • Laney Poye says:

Hey Steve, the Melbourne Air and Space Show has no impact on the commercial flights coming into MLB during that weekend. Thankfully!
